About the new TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Full Black Matte Ceramic watch
The recently launched TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Full Black Matte Ceramic is the latest variation of the Carrera 01 family that was first introduced in March 2015. The idea behind these massive 45mm timepieces is to provide a unique, instantly recognizable case for the in-house movement. These Carrera watches are meant to showcase the 13 ligne, self-winding chronograph movement, the TAG caliber 01, which boasts a 50-hour power reserve. The Full Black Matte Ceramic version of the Carrera Heuer-01 uses ceramic exclusively throughout (except, of course, in the movement). The watch comes with either a ceramic bracelet or a rubber strap, and the push pieces for the chronograph and the crown are black titanium carbide. The case is made of separate components, and the lugs, case middle, and bezel are all ceramic. Sapphire crystals with AR coating are used on both sides, and the skeletonized dial from the original Heuer-01 is retained, with water resistance of up to 100m. In contrast to ...
